WOMEN IN PEACE BUILDING AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION 

OVERALL OBJECTIVE

To co-ordinate all efforts on Women, Peace and Security among State and Non-State actors including development partners at national and county level through the existing policy frameworks.

COMMITTEE LEADERSHIP

The Chairperson and Co-Chair are appointed by members and serve for a period of 2 years renewable upon expiry.

SOCIO-ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT AND FINANCIAL INCLUSION 

OVERALL OBJECTIVE

To co-ordinate all efforts by stakeholders, both State and Non-State, including development partners in the Socio-Economic Empowerment and Financial Inclusion sector at national and county levels through the existing policy structures.

OVERALL OBJECTIVE

To co-ordinate all efforts by stakeholders, both State and Non-State, including development partners in the gender sector towards enhancing women’s participation in leadership and decision making at national and county levels through the existing policy structures.

To co-ordinate all efforts by stakeholders, both State and Non-State, including development partners in prevention and response to Gender Based Violence at national and county levels through the existing policy structures.

MALE ENGAGEMENT AND INCLUSION 

OVERALL OBJECTIVE

To co-ordinate all efforts by stakeholders, both State and Non-State, including development partners in formulation of policies and strategic direction on engagement and inclusion of men and boys towards gender equality at national and county levels through the existing policy structures.
